110th Annual Beaux Arts Ball

WHEN & WHERE: The 110th Annual Beaux Arts Ball will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in the Oak Room of Terrace On The Park (www.terraceonthepark.com) located at 52-11 111th Street (Flushing Meadows/Corona Park) Flushing, New York 11368.

BEAUX ARTS BALL THEME: The Roaring Twenties

COSTUME PARADE: There will be a Costume Parade at the Ball judged by our incoming Royalty.

CONFIRMED ROYALTY: Richard Skipper (King); Lynne Charnay (Queen); Charles Baran (Prince); and Bobbie Horowitz (Princess).

DRESS: Formal. Women (Gowns); Men (White or Black Tie); or dress in accordance with the Costume Theme "The Roaring Twenties". In the alternative, dress your best. 

FOOD & DRINK: The cocktail hour starting at 8:00 p.m. will feature 13 Hors D'oeuvres passed Butler Style on Silver Trays. There will be a dinner buffet with seven entrees, two carving stations, and dessert. The Ball will feature five (5) hours open bar (top shelf liquor).

ENTERTAINMENT: Ron Fowler Entertainment (DJ, Dancing & Performances). If you have tracks, you can bring them and perform a song or two. Keeping to the theme of The Roaring Twenties would be preferable. 

SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Denny Daniel, the Curator & Founder of The Museum Of Interesting Things (http://www.museumthings.org/), will be at the Ball to present and explain special items he is bringing from his museum collection.

TRANSPORTATION &CAR POOL: For those driving, there is free parking at the location. If you are in need of a car pool or would like to share a car service, let Dr. Tom Stevens know by e-mailing BeauxArtsSociety@gmail.com or by calling 718-357-7075. If you are driving in and can fit one or two more people in your car, please let me know that as well. A car service can be called from Terrace On The Park at the end of the evening. For those who wish to stay over at a hotel the night before or after the Ball, may I suggest downtown Flushing where many reasonably priced hotels are located. There is also a Paris Suites Hotel and a Holiday Inn Express within walking distance of Terrace On The Park.

MEMBER TICKET PRICE: If you are a member of the Beaux Arts Society, Inc. listed at: http://www.beauxartssociety.org/members.html the ticket price is $200.00.

NON-MEMBER TICKET PRICE: If you are not a member of the Beaux Arts Society, Inc., the ticket price is $250.00.
